No Bake Energy Bites

  Who's not making a version of these fabulous little snacks now a days? From moms to athletes everyone seems to have their favourite recipe. Why? Because these are a fantastic quick, simple & healthy grab & go snack. The ingredient options are endless

  If you give these a Google or look them up on Pinterest you will find a multitude of varied recipes that is sure to suit everyone's taste buds. I think for families picking a base that everyone likes then have each family member pick their own ingredients to roll them in is key to everyone enjoying & eating them. Plus what a fun way for the whole family to participate in making their own healthy foods together. The kids will love getting their hands into this sticky mess. I bet if you asked them to make everyone's they wouldn't say no. 

This is our base ( as for today anyways :) )

Ingredient's 

1 Cup quick oats
1/2 Cup almond butter
2 Tbsp dark chocolate covered quinoa puffs ( cacao nibs would be great too )
2 Tbsp coconut palm sugar
**use organic when possible 
Yields 12 bites

Method

Add all ingredient's to a bowl
Mix well
Refrigerate for about 1/2-1 hour 
Roll into 12 ball shape portions.

The four ingredient's we rolled ours in used today

1: Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
2: Hemp & Chia Seeds
3: Crushed Pretzels
4: Raw Cacao Powder


Place in a sealed container & leave on the counter top or in the fridge.


Whichever recipe you choose to use or perhaps a new one you create, enjoy & mostly may you be Nutritionally Well.
