Juices/Smoothies/Shakes

                           ( My day of creating some new)Juices and Smoothies
                                        


                 Cucumber mint juice

 Refreshing, thirst quenching & hydrating. Mint leaves aid in digestion plus contain high % in folate, Vit A & Vit C an minerals such as Iron, calcium, copper, magnesium.

2 cups water
1/2 or whole english cucumber
4 mints leaves
1 lemon squeezed
handful parsley
1/2 tbsp agave
Blend together

                           Orange-a-licious juice


 Sweet/sour & antioxidant rich (Vit C & Beta-carontene)

3 squeezed oranges 
2 squeezed grapefruits
6 juiced carrots
1/4 cantaloupe
1/8 watermelon
Blend together

 
               Citrus Berry Basil smoothie


Antioxidant rich & Basil offers 60% Vit K & 6.5% iron in 2 tsp.

3 squeezed oranges
1 squeezed grapefruit
6 fresh strawberries
1 lage basil leaf
Blend together

Use organic when possible..

It always amazes me how herbs in such small amounts offer us so much.
Try adding herbs to your next juice, smoothie or shake. Not only will the taste be enhance but you will be upping the nutritional value and gaining some health benefits too.
