Green Hummus

I'm creating and testing out some new flavours of hummus for the holidays. I'm loving this one. It's similar to one I've made &'posted before except with a few extra ingredients.


2 cups green chick peas
1 cup arugula
2 lrg cloves of garlic
2 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp lemon juice ( fresh squeezed )
1/4 cup water ( filtered )
1/4 cup grape seed oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Greek seasoning
1 tsp dried dill


Add all into your high speed blender and blend till creamy smooth.

The nutritional profile for the green verses the blonde chick peas are different. The green are less in carbs, sodium & calories and higher in protein then the blonde chick peas. They taste different as well.
